STUDIO MANAGER / PRODUCER – LONDON


We are seeking an experienced Producer / Studio Manager to run our newly opened London Studio.
The applicant must be an experienced and professional Producer  with over 4 years of production experience in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be able to lead a team of creatives in our London Studio.
To be able to find & assemble freelancers as new projects arrive.
Run the London Studio on a daily basis and ensure that projects are running on schedule and within budget.
To work with the Creative Director on ensuring that the projects meet the high standard of work.
Recognise areas of opportunity and help others create beautiful moving imagery.

REQUIREMENTS
A very good knowledge the Motion GFX / Music & VFX Industries.
You are self-motivated and have a passion for creative culture both inside and outside the studio.
To work with and lead a small team of freelancers and other full-time artists.
You are a great organiser of both yourself and others and can ensure that projects are run efficiently.
A good knowledge and understanding of the software & terminology used within the industry.
Must have a creative nature with strong problem solving skills.
Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately demonstrates your efficiency without compromising on quality.
To be passionate about delivering the very best images we can, whilst dealing with the team and budget constraints.
You will proactively engage with prospective clients and nurture new relationships.
A solid understanding of a CG production from concept through to delivery.

MAYA & CINEMA 4D ARTISTS – NORWICH –


We are seeking Maya & Cinema 4D artists to work from our Norwich studio.
Having worked with clients such as Madonna, Vivienne Westwood, Pixar, Milk VFX, TBWA, Mission, Autodesk and many others, it’s time for us to expand our team and we are now looking to expand our 3D department and are seeking someone to join and be part of this exciting new phase at Rockstar.

The applicant must be an experienced and professional 3D Maya Artist or Cinema 4D with over 2 years of production experience in the industry.
The applicant must have experience of all stages of a 3D production, from Storyboarding, Previs through to Modelling, Lighting, Shading and Compositing.

We are looking for individuals with a healthy disregard for constraints, who aren’t afraid to experiment with the new and up and coming. Come and work with a high calibre company and lead a motivated freelance and in-house team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be able to confidently work on 3D CGI projects throughout all stages of production.
To be proactive in seeking new technologies and rendering advancements and pushing yourself creatively.
Contribute to helping improve the workflow of the Rockstar production pipeline.
To be able to give and receive constructive and creative feedback across all art disciplines.
Recognise areas of opportunity and help others create beautiful moving imagery.

REQUIREMENTS
A very good knowledge of Autodesk Maya, across the board from Modelling, UVs, Lighting, Shading & Rendering ideally in Arnold and RenderMan.
To work with/lead a small team of freelancers and other full-time artists.
A keen interest in Motion GFX and such rendering styles.
Must have a creative nature with strong problem solving skills.
Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately demonstrates your efficiency without compromising on quality.
To be passionate about 3D and strive to keep up to date on all the latest trends, software and technology advancements.
A solid understanding of a CG production from concept through to delivery.
Experience with compositing in Nuke.  Understanding of Render Passes, colourspace & how to composite CG into live plates.
Education:  you either developed your art skills and strong portfolio through on-the-job/hobbyist experience, or through your degree.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of other 3D applications would be preferred, such as Houdini & Cinema 4D.
Strong technical background with the ability to work in an agile environment and grasp new programs and systems quickly.

FILMER / CAMERA GEEK – NORWICH –


We are seeking young and creative film makers / camera  geeks to work from our Norwich studio.

 

The applicant must be an experienced and professional film maker who has a passion for creating beautiful film.
The applicant must have experience of all stages of a film making from camera setup, lenses, shooting techniques through to editing and grading.

We are looking for individuals with a healthy disregard for constraints, who aren’t afraid to experiment with the new and up and coming.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be able to confidently work on filming projects throughout all stages of production.
To be proactive in seeking new technologies and rendering advancements and pushing yourself creatively.
To be able to give and receive constructive and creative feedback across all art disciplines.
Recognise areas of opportunity and help others create beautiful moving imagery.

REQUIREMENTS
A very good knowledge of modern camera kits such as Alexa & Red cameras, lenses and all the other geeky camera kit out there.
A keen interest in film making and editing.
Must have a creative nature with strong problem solving skills.
Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately demonstrates your efficiency without compromising on quality.
To be passionate about film making and strive to keep up to date on all the latest trends, software and technology advancements.
A solid understanding of a production from concept through to delivery.
